I’m an IT Manager in my early 50s and live just outside London. I’m originally from rural East Sussex but spent 12 years in the Royal Engineers, specialising in Explosive Ordnance Disposal — a period in my life which continues to define very much of who I am.

I enjoy photography from from the perspective of mastering the technicalities and — mainly — the view it gives me on the world and my surroundings.

My other interests include archery, spending time with my family, paganism, and managing the inevitable aches and pains of middle age.
